About This Project

This vital Connecticut transit hub features 66,000 sq. ft. of Metalwerks Sculpted 3D screenwall panels on the parking garage and pedestrian bridge. The innovative facade showcases perforated aluminum panels in a wave-like pattern with integrated LED lighting, creating a dynamic visual beacon for travelers day and night. Opened 2023.

The architectural elements required precise color matching and consistent film thickness across all components. Our quality control process ensured every piece met the stringent requirements for this high-profile installation.

Spectrum's Role

Our liquid coating team applied Fluoropolymer . Every component was processed through our 7-stage pretreatment system to ensure maximum coating adhesion and long-term performance.
